Just a note on abbreviations: the Universal Phonetic Alphabet is based on the Musa Alphabet (just like the International Phonetic Alphabet is based on the Latin Alphabet). In English, it's abbreviated UPA (pronounced yoo-pee-ay [juw.pʰij.ej] ) when written in the Latin Alphabet, but when written in Musa, it's abbreviated euphonal (pronounced yoo-fone-al [juwfownˈæɫ]), since Musa abbreviates using the first syllables instead of the names of the first letters. The UPA logo shows a winged letter - maybe an A or a Λ - against a blue sky. It also spells UA for Universal Alphabet. And it's a narrow version of the Musa logo.
