It's clear that, being featural and iconic, Musa is much easier to learn than the alternatives, but we're still learning ourselves how to teach it best to various audiences. Here's what's available so far:
On the menu page for Writing the UPA, the last choice on the left is "Even Linguists Can Learn Musa", a 26-slide presentation of the basics of Musa for people who know phonetics terminology and the IPA.
On the Reading the UPA page, the link at the bottom takes you to a 42-slide presentation of the basics of Musa for people who don't know phonetics terminology or the IPA.
The Musa site www.musa.bet offers a 66-slide presentation of the basics of Musa for English, including exercises. It's called the Quick Start.
The site also offers more traditional lessons for English, with exercises after each lesson. Here's the first one: Lessons.
There's also a 22-minute video on Learning the Musa Alphabet, on Youtube, Vimeo, and our site. Here it is on YouTube
In addition to lessons, there's also quite a bit of reference material on the site, as well as some playful content to help you practice: images, cartoons, poetry, quizzes, games, and stories. We'll let you explore it on your own.
